Tick TockHe would sit at the window everyday and watch the changing seasons. Almost as if they were a flash of lightning, they came and went in a blink of an eye. Snow morphed into raindrops which brought colorful flowers and lush green trees. Those trees turned to gold and would fall from a cold breeze. That cold would turn the rain into ice and soon the pattern would start all over again. Not even the beautiful perpetual bliss outside his window could make this boy smile. No warmth could bring his cheeks to turn rosy. The only sense of joy he could get was in his thoughts, the thought of one day getting away from the window and out into the world inTick Tock
